Research/Copyright for Project 1-The Century Typeface

The Century Typeface is a serif font that was created by Morris Fuller back in 1906. Century is a great typeface for people to use while doing projects, or anything else on a designing program. It is also well known for its exceptional readability. In a website that I found it says that, "Century is so legible and neutral in tone that it is required by the U.S. Supreme Court that all briefs be presented by typeset in the Century family" (The Century Typeface-An American Original). There are many types of fonts that are in the Century family these include, "Century Bold Condensed, Century Gothic, Century Expanded Italic, Century Bold, and Century Expanded"(Ascender Corporation: Century Font). This font I think is going to be fun researching because not only is thiss font a good typeface to use, but it has a well-known history that makes it popular to use.
